The Host City Edit
Split is the second-largest city of Croatia and the largest city of the region of Dalmatia. It lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings. An intra-regional transport hub and popular tourist destination, the city is linked to the Adriatic islands and the Apennine peninsula.
Split is known for its beaches and the fortresslike complex at its center, Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. Within its white stone walls and under its courtyards are a cathedral and numerous shops, bars, cafes, hotels and houses.
Spaladium Arena is a new multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena located in Split, Croatia and designed by 3LHD. The 12,000 seat venue is very flexible for a variety of events and can be configured to seat anywhere from 1,246 people to 12,339. Event setups range for sports to concerts to exhibitions to conferences.
Spaladium Arena was developed to meet all the requirements and dimensions of International Olympic Committee guidelines. Greatest attendance was at the Haiti benefit concert, which was viewed by 15,000 spectators.
The arena is getting positioned to be the focal point for all sports, entertainment, and business events in the Croatia’s Dalmatia region as well as a must-stop tour destination in Southeast Europe.
Ana Stunić was born on 21st April 1981, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Banja Luka. Ana studied chemistry in Zagreb and attended private lessons in solo singing. She used to be a model and appeared in the video of the group Ramirez, for the song “Sve je ok”. This talented lady also appeared in Croatian movie “Volim te” (“I love you”), from the Croatian director Dalibor Matanić. Ana became television presenter in showbiz magazine “Red Carpet”, on Croatian private TV station “Nova TV”, in 2008. Today, she is still the TV host in “Red Carpet”, together with her colleague and editor, Danijel Delale.
Danijel Delale was born on 17th October 1979, in Croatia, Rijeka. Danijel is a journalist, currently editor and television presenter in showbiz magazine “Red Carpet”, on Croatian private TV station “Nova TV”. He is working in “Red Carpet” for 7 years already. Today, he is also editor of the new showbiz magazine “In Magazin”, on the same TV station.
